With the passing of the late former UPAA President and Alumni Regent Atty. Gari M. Tiongco (2006-2009), passed away on the 16th of August, 2020, at the age of 75 years old.

On the 21st of July, 2020, a global fundraising and resource-generation campaign have been set to provide technical assistance for the UP students that had engaged in online learning.

By engaging in these online galleries, the artist can showcase their talents and pieces and also tackle the nation’s challenge by raising funds, thus lending a helping hand to those who need the assistance the most.

Executive Director Romeo Carlos reported that as of March 20, 2020, PHP 400,000.00 had been collected from members of the Board of Directors as donations for the financial needs of stranded dormitory residents in Diliman and Los Baños.

Friday, December 13th, 2019. With the Christmas season events that just breeze around the corner, the UPAA Board of Directors and Staff held a luncheon Christmas Party at the UPAA Boards Room of the Ang Bahay ng Alumni.

44th UPAA Regional Alumni Institute (RAI)

As the UP President Danilo L. Concepcion stated in his remarks on the 44th UPAA Regional Alumni Institute (RAI), organized by the UP Mindanao Foundation Inc. (UPMFI) and UP Mindanao, in cooperation with the UPAA and UPAA-Davao City chapter, was held on 22-23 November 2019, Friday-Saturday, at UP Mindanao, Davao City.

UP-UPAA on Ang Bahay ng Alumni Management

The renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) from The University of the Philippines (UP), had open up another chapter of journey for the UP – Alumni Association (UPAA), as per agreement to management of the project Ang Bahay ng Alumni for another twenty-five (25)

The UP Alumni Homecoming is an annual event organized by the UP Alumni Council. On Friday, August 23, 2019, Bahay ng Alumni was held at the Luciano Salazar Hall in great spirit.
